EOS G-202/ Candy Magic/ Barbie King Size Brown Review

Many popular gyaru models wear this circle lens. When I saw em, I instantly wanted my own pair because they make such a sweet and dolly look. I've been putting off getting them, so when I finally scourged out some funds, here is my review of the EOS G-202 Brown/ Candy Magic/ Barbie King Size Brown.

I ordered this from Shoppingholics

The package came in an adorable plastic wrapper. It came with a  thank you card, a complimentary animal lens case, and a free gift.

The circle lens is nicely packed in this box with foam included for insulation.

I like the design of the vials--- isn't it a lovely hot pink?

Comparison of direct indoor lighting and natural lighting.

I love the dolly effect. The design makes my eyes look pretty.

Full face shot.

I like the color it gives off with flash photography.

REVIEW:

DESIGN:

It has a dark limbal ring for a dolly look. The lens looks similar to the GEO Angel series, but bigger and more opaque. It's not for those looking for a natural look.

COMFORT:

My rating would be higher but one lens is more comfortable than the other lens.

COLOR:
The lens give a cool toned honey color and not an orange-y shade.

ENLARGEMENT:
The lens enlarges at 14.5 mm. Make-up is recommended when wearing this lens since it doesn't look so natural.

PRICE:

Decent price and you can find a good sale or promotion if you know where to look.

OVERALL:
I like the effect it gives, but the comfort level deters me from giving a higher rating. I recommend this lens for the dolly look that is popular among gyaru models.

GEO Angel Violet (CM-831) Review

Long time since I've updated.

Here's the GEO Angel Violet circle lens I ordered from Pinkparadise. I've had these for a while but haven't posted a review on it yet.

Looks pretty nice with flash photography.

Wish that the lenses are brighter and more opaque.

It kinda has a sunflower design with a black limbal ring.

Full face shot
.
REVIEW:

DESIGN:

It has a dark limbal ring which should give a dolly look but since it looks quite dark when worn, it doesn't show as much. It has a big pupil space so it does not impede vision.

COMFORT:

It doesn't sting my eyes or make them feel boggy and heavy (which is what I feel when I wear other circle lenses). These are comfortable lenses from GEO, about as comfortable as the Neo Visions but not as thin. I can wear these for 6-8 hours without much discomfort although it does move around my eye every time I blink.

COLOR:

I ordered these because the stock photos looked really vibrant. In real life, its very dull and dark when I wear it. It looks good with flash photography and bright lighting. But I was hoping that it would be more opaque and bright but its not so I'm giving it a low score. These lenses don't make a big dramatic change in color, so if you are looking for a pair of vibrant violet circle lenses, this will not achieve that look. However, if you want a subtle and more natural look these would be good for that.

PRICE:

Pretty affordable.  I paid around $21 for these babies so I can't complain.

OVERALL:
Will I repurchase these again? No. Its doesn't make a remarkable difference on my eyes. I wish the lenses are brighter and lighter but they are comfortable.

GEO Bella Brown (BS-204) Review - UPDATE

I finally got the chance to post this update on my GEO Bella Brown replacement lens. Sorry if I took so long, I got really lazy

I can't wait to open it and try it on.

Here's the lens inside the vial .

Thank you for Pinkyparadise for sending me another lens. The shipment took about 2 weeks. I didn't care how long it took because I was just too excited to wear the GEO Bella Brown on a daily basis

I took more close-up pics of the lenses now that the replacement came in. The new lens has no problems at all unlike the first one I got. I can see with it on----yay!

Natural light.
With flash.
These lenses are beautiful! If you plan on getting lenses that are very natural, pick the GEO Bella Brown.

I took more photos so you can see how the lenses look from a distance

Neo Vision Cosmo Glamour Grey Review

Yay, so after waiting close to 2 weeks for my circle lenses....my package came!
I ordered from Candylens to see if they have faster order processing....and they do! They try to process and send your order out as fast as they can which made me so happy.

Okay, on to the circle lens review!

The package came in this cute box topped off with a bow. I love that Candylens makes your order special . After a long wait for the package, its so rewarding to see it in a good presentation. The package is bubble-wrapped sealed with tape.

Every order comes with a complementary Qcase. I have a light blue pig to add to my collection !
Candylens also includes a hand-written thank you card. It adds a personal touch really shows you that they value their customers.

The lenses fit snugly inside the box!

Since I have very poor vision, I ordered the lenses in a prescription higher by 1 value (I'm a -6.00 ). I find that circle lenses aren't as clear as my regular lenses.

Made sure I inspected the vials for expiration, tampering, or  flaws.

I also inspected the lenses for any deformation. Looks good to me!

I was carefully prying them open using the side of my desk....this step is always the trickiest and not to mention dangerous. The aluminum bands' edges are so sharp, you can cut yourself with them!

Here's what the lenses look like on:

I soaked the lenses using a multi-purpose contact lens solution for several hours before putting them on.
I was really impressed about how the lenses are vibrant when worn. With flash they look icy grey which is exactly the look I was going for.

The lenses look natural on very dark brown eyes. I love the design on them. They fit well and are very comfortable.

The Neo Vision lenses are probably the most comfortable circle lenses I've owned. Neo Visions are pricier than other brands but they are high quality. It shows in the way the lenses are thinner than other circle lenses. Its as thin as my regular Acuvue Oasys contacts! That's impressive.

REVIEW:

Price:
It's more expenssive than other circle lenses but the quality makes up for it.

Design:
It has an orange/amber outer pupil area which makes it blend better on dark brown eyes. There are thin black hash marks instead of a black limbal ring. I like this feature of the lenses because it doesn't make it fake looking. I also like that the pupil area does not impede my vision. I've had this problem with the Dolly Grey by EOS where I can't see clearly because the pupil whole was too small. The Neo Vision, on the other hand, is made where the lens' pupil whole area can accommodate your own pupils.

Enlargement:
It's diameter is 14.2 and find that it doesn't enlarge my eyes. This is a plus for me because I'm not a fan of the big dolly eye effect. It's way too weird and alien looking in my opinion.

Color:
The grey color stands out quite well on very dark brown eyes. It's quite hard to find a vibrant grey circle lens with a natural look. I've had the Dolly Grey by EOS and that looked so fake and scary. The Neo Vision Cosmo Glamour Grey is perfect! With flash photography, it looks absolutely pretty.

Comfort:
My eyes are extremely sensitive so finding a good pair of circle lenses is difficult. I'm very happy that the Neo Vision circle lenses are well-made thin that it feels like I'm wearing my regular prescription lenses. I can wear them for 6-7 hours without much trouble. My eyes get a little dry so I use eye drops. These are my most comfortable circle lenses I've bought. I will buy more Neo Vision circle lenses in the future, for sure.

OVERALL:
I'm very happy with these lenses. They are very comfortable and vibrant, and they also meet my other standards as the best pair of grey circle lenses.

Alrighty, that's it! See ya later guys
