I have been eyeing nude glosses from BUXOM LIPS at Sephora and finally scourged out some money to try one out . BUXOM LIPS is made by Bare Escentuals and boasts a plethora of the colored glosses, available in sheer, shimmery, and opaque finishes. I picked out SANDY because I prefer the opaque nude color.
Here's my review on BUXOM LIPS in SANDY!
The packaging has an adorable doodle of a foxy lady....I'm guessing her name is Sandy.
I adore the color. The pictures don't do it justice.
The gloss has a very minty feel to it. It tingles a bit which I kinda like.
REVIEW
A desirable nude color but not as opaque as I wanted.
Cute packaging on the box and a simple tube.
A bit pricey, for $18, it's a bit too much.
I did not see any plumping, so I can't give it a high rating.
I like the minty, clean scent.
A decent duration of wear. It's not the best but not the worst. The consistency is a bit sticky, so if you don't like sticky lip glosses, BUXOM LIPS might not be for you. I can tolerate it since it's not as sticky as the MAC Lipglass.
BUXOM LIPS in SANDY is a decent gloss, it's not my Holy Grail of glosses but its not that bad. Too pricey though, but I do enjoy the tingly, minty feeling. It could use more vibrancy and the plumping effect.
wow this shade is so pretty on you ^^. What are the makeup that you use for your lips on your profile picture? ^^
